Healing Honey

I discovered this amazing remedy by trying to use up extra ingredients I had around.  I threw them altogether and let them sit a while.  Then when we needed to eat extra garlic, it was easier to get the kids or myself.

Healing Honey

  • Local Raw Honey
  • Raw Garlic Cloves
  • Minced Ginger Root
  • Minced Turmeric Root

I have also added

  • Lemongrass
  • Rosemary

Directions:

  1. Peel and dice all ingredients
  2. Fill a small, medium or large mason jar
  3. Pour honey over til you cover the ingredients leaving 1/8 ” head space.
  4. Cover lightly with a lid.
  5. In 12-24 hours add more honey til jar is full.

The mix will somewhat ferment.

  • Clean neck and rim with damp cloth or paper towel.  Seal with clean lid and ring.
  • Store 6 weeks in cupboard and keeps longer in refrigerator or cool location.

Once finished, store in a cool dry place or refrigerate for longer keeping.  I have had mine over 6 months.

Note:  If using metal canning lids you may consider a piece of parchment or waxed paper to reduce rusting lid around the ring.

Take a spoonful or more as needed for any and all symptoms.

Great for illness, parasites, infections, sore throat, GBS, stomach aches, fevers, headache, pain and inflammation, cold or flu, and more.
